Communication Access UK

Communication Access UK is a partnership led by the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, Communication Matters, the Stroke Association, the Motor Neurone Disease Association, Headway – the brain injury association, the National Network of Parent Carer Forums, Disability Rights UK, the Business Disability Forum and the Makaton Charity.

The Communication Access UK initiative is administered by the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and copyrights of all materials and intellectual property are therefore reserved to the RCSLT beyond the exceptions as outlined below.

Terms of use

The information provided on this site is for the benefit of all people and organisations (including businesses, companies etc.) with an interest in communication difficulties.

The Communication Access UK partnership believes in the free dissemination of information for the Communication Access UK initiative as far as possible. However, proper credit and citations to Communication Access UK should be included wherever the information appears.

Commercial use or publication of all or any item displayed is strictly prohibited without prior authorisation from the Communication Access UK partnership.

Using any of Communication Access UK registered logos, graphics or photographs without the partnerships prior consent is strictly prohibited.

The use of the Communication Access Symbol is conditioned upon the completion of the eLearning training package by individuals; and commitments to deliver the training package to staff and adherence to the standards by organisations in the first year of accreditation, and a demonstration of how these commitments have been met in subsequent years.

Organisations are permitted to download and incorporate the eLearning package into their own learning management systems upon this condition.
