Bexley Local Authority
Bexley Local Authority is a London borough council and one of the 32 councils in greater London. Bexley is a place of friendly, well-connected and high-quality neighbourhoods. Our neighbourhoods are diverse and fun, full of community and history. Bexley is a great place in which to live, work or study. It has the best of both worlds - close to the centre of London but still a green, safe and friendly place to be. And our mission is to make Bexley even better.
The Council is at the heart of Bexley’s community. We deliver more than 800 services for residents and businesses. From registering births, deaths and marriages and citizenship ceremonies to looking after your streets, parks and open spaces, collecting waste and recycling, providing sports and leisure facilities, education, employment support and looking after vulnerable children and adults.
Our ambitions are underpinned by our shared values and principles, which include standing up for Bexley, fairness and inclusion, working in partnership, early intervention and prevention, embracing change and innovation and making a difference for our residents.
Bexley is proud to have received the Communication Access accreditation and will continue to support inclusive communication for all.
