Speech and Language Therapy, NHS Lanarkshire
Speech & Language Therapy aims to provide a high quality, evidence based service that is responsive to and meets the needs of clients and their carers, who experience speech, language, communication or swallowing difficulties.
We work in partnership with these individuals and their families and with other professionals and agencies to reduce the impact of these often isolating difficulties on people’s wellbeing and their ability to participate in daily life.
Speech & Language Therapy in NHS Lanarkshire is an integrated service with provision to Acute, Primary Care, Learning Disability and Mental Health. The Service has close working relationships with both Local Authorities in particular Education and Social Work Services and the State Hospital.
